Weirwood Stage 5-46

Level 5-46 Winter is Coming Night King

Weirwood Stage 5-46 in Game of Thrones: Winter is Coming is a very Hard stage to win because you square off against the Night King. The main workings making this stage so difficult are the enemy’s temporary immunity shields, rapid health regeneration, and the Night King’s massive damage spikes. [1]

You must turn off “Auto-combat” and run this stage manually to beat it.

Step 1: Prepare the Right F2P Lineup

Your commanders should ideally be around Level 57+ with high-tier promotions to survive the incoming damage. A highly reliable, free-to-play friendly composition includes: [1, 2] (My Commanders are all level 59 plus Chris and Robb at level 63

  • Front Row (Tanks/Bruisers): Robb Stark and Chris (Excellent for absorbing damage and providing necessary stun-locking).Gorell (AoE Crowd Control/Stun),
  • Back Row (Supports/DPS): Sansa Stark (Essential healing), and Sheila (Targeted single-target burst damage). [1, 2] (Any Healer most use Sansa
  • (Alternative Support): If you are struggling with the Night King’s massive stat buffs, you can use a debuffer/buff-stripper like Feice or Winton. [1] I am using RHea because of the bleed factor

Step 2: Clear the Secondary Units First.

When the match begins, do not waste your heavy burst abilities on the Night King immediately. Direct Sheila and your Dragon’s active skills to burst down the enemy ranged units first. Save your tank and support skills for when the enemy guards are dead to ensure all focus shifts cleanly to the boss.

Step 3: Watch the Enemy Shields (Do Not Waste Skills).

Watch for the Pink Immunity Bubbles/Shields that appear over enemy units. Stop attacking with skills when you see the pink shields go up. Hitting them during immunity wastes your ultimate abilities and charges their rage meters without dealing damage. Let your basic attacks hit them, and wait patiently for the shields to completely drop.

Step 4: Stun-Lock the Night King.

Once the secondary units are down and the shields drop, it is time to cycle your ultimate abilities: Position Gorell so his active skill hits the Night King and as many surrounding targets as possible to trigger a massive group stun. Chain the active skills of Robb and Chris immediately after Gorell’s stun ends. This creates a “stun lock” loop that stops the Night King from activating his own devastating abilities. If using Feice or Egbert, time his active skill right before the Night King triggers his recovery phase to severely debuff him.

Step 5: Save Your Tanks with Timed Healing.

While your damage dealers are waiting for openings between shields, the Night King will deal massive chunks of damage to your front line. Do not trigger Sansa’s or Jeane’s heals the second someone drops health. Save the heals to specifically counteract the Night King’s biggest strikes, keeping your tanks alive just long enough for Sheila’s burst damage to finish the fight

Questions to Answer

Are you currently getting stuck on the first wave of guards, or is the Night King’s ultimate wiping out your front row tanks?

When the match begins, do not waste your heavy burst abilities on the Night King immediately. You will be wasting your time. Try to take out his support first.

Try Sheila and your Dragon’s active skills to burst down the enemy units first, which is not easy on average for a single player. It may take days, even weeks, to get your timing and uplevel your commanders

๐Ÿ“ข๐Ÿ“ขTip#1: When you see the Chris Awakening, do all of the tasks and quests because this is the beginning of all your Commander Awakenings Ability.

The difference between an Awake Commander and a common Commander is the ability to level up more in skills and also to surpass your lord’s level at the same time.

In the meantime, you will be training more troops and unlocking troop skins to give you more bonuses in attacks and defence.

๐Ÿ“ข๐Ÿ“ขTip #2: Unlock your T4 —–You will watch for all the Events where you can get the book of confessions, Mask of the Faceless One, and the Battle Codex. These are important to level up your Dungeon to level 24, your Maester’s Building and your Bannerman Hall building to level 25

๐Ÿ“ข๐Ÿ“ข.Tip#3 Once you successfully clear it with 3 stars, remember to use the Blitz feature in the upper right corner to farm the level automatically for future commander promotions without playing it manually again!

Disclaimer: “This seems like the best way I have found to defeat this level. I have not defeated this level yet. When I do I will post the video.
